Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information AMSP Enterprise Ltd collects when you use amspgroup.com or contact us, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are
AMSP Enterprise Ltd (“AMSP”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are a telecoms supply and repair business based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
- Registered in England and Wales, company number 13836271
- VAT number: GB411614342
- Privacy contact: privacy@amspgroup.com
- WhatsApp: +44 7469 846518
2. Information we collect
We only collect information that you choose to give us. This may include:
- Identity and contact details — your name, company name, phone number and email address.
- Order and enquiry details — the products in your basket, quantities, notes, repair descriptions and the messages you send us.
- Transaction details — invoices, payment confirmations and delivery addresses once an order is agreed.
- Trade account details — business registration and VAT details where you apply for trade pricing or the domestic reverse charge.
- Device information for repairs — make, model, IMEI or serial number and the fault reported.
This website has no customer accounts, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not record your browsing.
3. How this website handles your information
- Your basket stays on your device. Items you add are saved in your own browser’s local storage so the basket is still there when you return. It is never sent to us until you choose to send it. See our Cookies & Storage page.
- Forms do not submit to a server. When you fill in the basket or enquiry form and press “Send on WhatsApp”, your browser composes a message and opens WhatsApp. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in WhatsApp yourself.
- PDF and print. “Save as PDF” and “Print” create a copy on your own device only.
- Fonts are hosted by us. The typeface is served from this website, so your IP address is not shared with a font provider.
4. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to orders, quotes and repair requests — to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To answer general enquiries — our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep accounting, VAT and warranty records — to comply with our legal obligations, including HMRC record-keeping rules (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To send occasional stock or price updates — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Article 6(1)(a)).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers, including WhatsApp, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum approved under UK law.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order — up to 12 months.
- Orders, invoices and VAT records — 6 years from the end of the financial year, as required by HMRC.
- Repair records — 2 years, to support warranty claims.
- Your browser basket — until you empty it or clear your browser storage.
8. Keeping it secure
We limit access to customer information to staff who need it, use password-protected devices and accounts, and wipe customer data from devices we repair only with your permission or where necessary to complete the repair. We advise backing up your device before a repair.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@amspgroup.com or message us on WhatsApp. We will respond within one month and there is normally no charge.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
